Victoria Case New Release

HI all,

I hope you all had a great Christmas celebrating with family and friends. Mine was fun, we had a great time with our family and friends.

Just wanted to shout out and let you see this cute little New Year's baby stamp that Victoria Case has just released today. This would be perfect for someone who has a New Year's baby for a congratulations or a Birthday card.

I made a quick card using the image. I used Close To My Heart's liquid glass on the balloons to make them look shiny.

Happy Holidays...

Hi all.....

Today Sewn Together posted challenge #16 on their blog....the challenge is to create a card or project with a "Winter Theme". I thought about how cozy this little digi stamp was of Morty the Moose and all his troubles.....It sure looks like he got himself into some trouble here now doesn't it?

You can find Morty here in the Christmas pack. Anyway hop on over to their blog and participate, the winner receives 3 digi images of their choice....plus if you look on their blog....there is some blog candy hanging around there too.....

While making Morty's card I also used the sketch over at Sketch Saturday to inspire and pull the whole card together. This sketch was perfect for inspiration. I might just have to keep this sketch in my files for future use.

Have fun playing...

Sewn Together Challenge #14

Hi all,
Over at Sewn Together we have an awesome sponsor for this weeks challenge. It is the Cutting Cafe. Here is a little information about Regina the owner of Cutting cafe:

Hello my name is Regina Easter. I have 4 wonderful children and an awesome supportive husband. I have for as long as I can remember loved all the aspects of creating things with paper and drawing. So it was only fitting that I decided to open up The Cutting Cafe' and I am loving every bit of this new venture. The Cutting Cafe' offers affordable Printable Stamps and Cutting Files. The Cutting Files which are basically just like templates are files that you Print out using your home printer, Cut, Assemble and then Embellish.....Very Easy.....The Cutting Files also come in the format where you can cut out the files using some of the latest Machine Cutterslike the Pazzles Inspiration, Bosskut Gazelle and Cricut (with Scal software). The Printable Stamps are just that, images that are sent to you through email that you print out using your home printer. After the images are printed out, you can just color them in like you would any other stamped imaged...One great thing about the Printable Stamps and Cutting Files is that you no longer have to worry about finding space to store all of your stamps....You can keep them all in a folder in your computer and use over and over again.

The cutting cafe blinkie

The challenge is to make a Christmas themed card or project, we would love to see Sewn Together images and Cutting Cafe images used together.

Here is the card that I came up with, I love the shimmer and sparkle of this card.

I hope you all enjoy your day with family and friends.....

The first challenge was over at Penny B Friends Saturday Challenge Blog. The challenge over there was Winter Wonderland. Well, for me that must mean a snowman.....lol... I found this cute Penny Black image of a snowman and a dog....I just love how animated the stamp set is.....

The second challenge I incorporated was over at http://onestopcraftchallenge.blogspot.com/. The challenge there was to make a card using snowflakes. Well, I think between the background paper, the image snowflakes and the large snowflake on the front, I think I have that covered.

Two challenges in one.....

Hi all,

Are you all ready for Thanksgiving? I still can not believe Thanksgiving is this week.....my time is just flying by, it amazes me how fast things seem to be going.....

Anyway, I was off work today, so I decided to try out some challenges. First stop was the Ildico Blog to see what they were up to.....the challenge was to make a card using a Christmas song to inspire you. Well, all the songs started going thru my head as I looked through my stamps and I saw this little Hedgehog holding a Christmas tree and immediately started singing "Rockin' around the Christmas tree", so that is my inspiration.

Then I saw on Mojo Monday they posted a nice little sketch and it worked perfectly with my little hedgehog. So, I incorporated the sketch in as well.

Hope you like the little hedgehogs as much as I do......
Enjoy your day!

3 Challenges in one....

Happy Hump Day....Hope you all had a great Wednesday.

Today I managed to make a card that incorporated 3 different challenges. I recently bought a cute little snowman wooden stamp from a friend....not knowing that it was actually a Penny Black stamp. I was thrilled as I really like the Penny Black images. That must be why I picked that one up, that and I really like snowmen....

Anyway, I decided to participate in the Penny Black Saturday Challenge blog. Their challenge was "Christmas for the guys". I thought the snowman would do just fine for this challenge.

The second challenge I incorporated into this card was the Sketch Saturday challenge. It was a nice little sketch. I used the snowflakes for most of the circles.

The third challenge I decided to incorporate into this card was the challenge over at Cute Card Thursday. The challenge over there was "Glitter me silly". I decided to put glitter all around the snowman so it looked like it was snowing.....

Anyway, here is the card that I incorporated all these challenges into.

Hope you like the snowman as much as I do.

Happy Crafting.

Crafting Life's Pieces & La-La Land Crafts Challenges

Hi all,

I completed this card and wanted to get it posted....I think it turned out beautiful...

I used a Sarah Kay stamp that I recently bought. These images are so adorable. You can really lace and bling things up with them.

I created the card using the sketch over on the Crafting Life's Pieces blog.

I incorporated using a new lacey punch that I bought from Stampin' Up, so I decided to include it in the challenge over on La-La Land Crafts. Their challenge is to "Get Punchy".

I really love how this card came out. I love using brown with any color, I think that color combo turns out so pretty.... I added some pearls to give it a feminine, vintage look.

Hope you like it too...

Happy crafting..
