Precious New Baby Card

Hi all,

I was asked by a co-worker to make a pretty new baby girl card for a friend of hers who just had a baby girl. The baby is Norweigen, so she wanted it to say "Velkommen" instead of "Welcome".
I entered this card into the following challenges:
Penny B Friends Saturday Challenges: the challenge is for "Someone Special" (all babies are special) the stamp is a Penny Black Stamp.
Digital Ink Co Challenge: the challenge is "Pets and Baby Birthdays"
One Stop Craft Challenge: the challenge is "Make it personal".

I just love how this card came out, so soft and pretty....Hope you agree....
It is very clear to me now, that this little hedgehog stamp was a very good buy. I have already made, hmmm.... I think about 3 cards with it....It is such an awesome stamp.

For Baby

Hi all...Happy Hump Day!

I made this cute little baby card, using the Penny Black baby in a hammock stamp the I bought. This one is blue, maybe for a boy, although all those polka dots.....it could be for a boy or girl...
I made this card using 2 challenges:
First one is for the sketch, Friday Sketchers,
The other one, the challenge at Stamp Challenges and is to use "Blue and White". I immediately thought of this embossed designer paper. It is very pretty and elegant.

Happy Tuesday

Hi all,

Another cold and wet, rainy day here in AZ.....
A great day to craft....I finished up this card tonight and thought I would share....

I used a Penny Black stamp-this cute little musical cat....Isn't he cute?

I was able to incorporate this card into 3 challenges.....Here they are:
First one, Card Positioning Systems, the challenge was the sketch;
Next one, The Secret Crafter, the challenge is "Musical";
the last one, Charisma Cardz, the challenge is "something new"...(the stamp is new)

Here is the card:
I thought the silver and black in the paper looked perfect for the image, then I remembered I had those cute little music note brads....I thought that just finished it off perfectly....

Little Chihuahua Card

Hi all....

Hope you all had a great Monday.....it was kind of rainy and cold here.....kind of a nice change. We are always warm and sunny here in AZ.....

I made this cute little Chihuahua card using a few challenges to help me put it together.....

First challenge: Sketch Saturday, this challenge was for the sketch,
Next one: Lily of the Valley, this challenge was for a "Thank you" card...well, mine is Muchas Gracias, close enough....
Next and last challenge: Our Cretive Corner, this challenge was to use blue and green.....

I saw this little celebrating mouse called "Bigsby Celebrating", it was the perfect image to use on a birthday card....I picked up Bigsby here. He is one of Karens Doodles freebie images. Karen's stuff is really cute, you should really go and check out her blog....

First of this week-end's challenges

HI all,

Here is the first post of this week-end's challenges....I have been working on getting some done but wanted to stop and share this one. It came out so adorable....Just loved it...

I used a Wags 'N Whiskers stamp called Furry Friends. You can click on the link and it will take you to their website. I have wanted this stamp since the first sneak peak I saw of it....I finally broke down and bought it before Christmas. The paper is a new pack of K & Co that I bought called Floral Dreams...it is a gorgeous pack....then I added purple cardstock and purple satin ribbon....

Here are the challenges I used this card in:

First one is 2 Sketches 4 You, that was for the sketch,

Next was CupCake Craft Challenge, that challenge was for "Going Girley",

Next up was My Time to Craft, their challenge is called "Cool Cats" (now aren't these cool?)

Next in line was PaperPlay Challenge, the challenge is for "Furry Friends"

Next and last, CraftyCardMakers, the challenge is for "Something New", well, everything on this card is new....

Instyle Sneak Peak and Stamp Something Challenges

Hi all,

I have been MIA, for a couple of days....it has been a hectic week at work and I had some design team work to do....plus my daughter had a varsity basketball game tonight...They won big time...Yeah team!

Anyway, I finished up this sneak peak for Instyle Stamps and I used the sketch over on the Stamp Something Challenge blog to help complete the card....

I am doing a sneak peak on Valentine Ava....the cutest little Anime fairy ever....

I used Shimmerz in her hair and on her wings...not sure how well that came out in the pictures....Pink pearls I bought online to finish her off....

Hope you like it...I added a closer up picture so hopefully you can see the Shimmerz....

Instyle Stamps and Delightful Sketches

HI all....

I finished up my Design Team card for Instyle Stamps color challenge....the challenge is to use pink, hot pink and red. I used the digital stamp of Ava holding heart shaped balloons as my focal point. I thought she would look pretty in pinks and reds.

I found this glittery piece of designer paper in my stash and thought it would go perfectly with the sketch over at Delightful Sketches. I added ribbon and a Close To My Heart sentiment "Love You", then went back and added Stickles to her wings and Liquid Glass to the balloons and her eyes.

It was a really fun card to make and I think it turned out really cute.

Card Positioning Systems Challenge

HI all....Happy Friday!

I am so glad that it is Friday and that I can be in my craft room this evening...

I was able to finish up a card for the Card Positioning Systems Sketch Challenge....

The sketch is a really nice one. Easy to use and makes a simple but cute card....

Here is my card I did for the challenge....

I used some pretty green and ivory polka dotted paper and some pretty oraganza pine green ribbon. I also used the Instyle Stamps digital stamp Kei.

The perfect little card to send someone to say hi......

Rubber Romance Challenge

HI all,

I finished up another card I had been working on for the Rubber Romance Challenge.

I bought this cute little cat sitting in the window stamp awhile ago but just recently got the sticky stuff to mount it to my clear block....a little slow, I know....

I really liked their sketch and so I dug out the stamp and got to colorin'....it was so much fun to color this image....

For some reason my camera seems to be softening up the image...hmmm....some day I will figure out this camera...lol....We went to Disneyland and I haven't been able to take clear close up shots since. I will get it working soon.....

Challenges Times 7

Hi all,

I was able to complete the most adorable baby card....at least I think so. I have wanted this Penny Black Hedgehog stamp since the first time I saw it....It is so cute..... I finally splurged and bought one and finally sat down to use it....I hope you like it too....

I used the sketch at Cute Card Thursday to begin with. It was a nice and simple one and I was able to incorporate the different colors in the patterned paper into the card layout.

Then over at Cupcake Craft the challenge was to make a Baby Card. I immediately thought of this hedgehog stamp.

There were several challenges where the challenge was for "New Beginnings". There is nothing more fitting for new beginnings than a new baby. So I entered this card into these challenges for the new beginnings.

Delightful Sketches Challenge

Hi all,

Last post for today.....

This is the last card I was able to finish today.....

I used the adorable sketch over at Delightful Sketches for this cute little teddy bear named Celebration Charlie. You can find him here.

I think this birthday card came out really cute. I just picked up the polka dotted paper at JoAnn's on Saturday....I think I might need to get more of that....it is perfect for birthday cards....

More Challenges...Papertake and ABC....

Hi everyone....

Here is the second card out of three that I got completed today....

I used the sketch on Papertake Weekly. It worked perfectly for the little hedgehogs that I had decided to use.

The second challenge I used was over at ABC Challenge blogspot. They are up to the letter K, so it worked well to have the challenge of "Kissing" since next month will be Valentine's Day.

Right before Christmas, I bought the cutest Penny Black Hedgehog stamp, of 2 hedgehogs kissing. It was perfect for this challenge.

Digital-Ink Co and Friday Sketchers Challenges

HI all,

I hope you all had a very Happy New Years. I wish all of you a healthy, happy and prosperous 2010.

Now, on to challenges....after the holidays, I was finally able to get into my craft room and create....it felt so good to be in here today....I did have to take a couple of hours and tidy up from the before Christmas rush....

Anyway, I started off with the Digital-Ink Co challenge. The challenge was "New Beginnings". In honor of my uncle who passed away right before Christmas and to his "new beginning"....I made this silvery and purple sympathy card.

I used the sketch challenge on Friday Sketchers for inspiration on the layout. I really liked how the card came out. It is very tranquil and pretty.
