Hi all,

Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving and are not too stuffed afterwards.

I was able to get a challenge done today after our hike up the mountain behind our house. I wanted to get out and get some exercise today so we all decided to go.....It was a nice cool day, a little overcast....
Anyway, back to the challenge. I participated in the challenge on Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge blog. The challenge was to make a card with a Christmas tree on it.

You should have reached my blog from Margie's blog.

Here is my card for the blog hop.

I used Instyle Stamps Christmas Tree Chick Digital stamp for as the focal for my project. I used Jolly & Bright paper from Heidi Grace as my background paper. I just love how this paper shimmers and I thought it was perfect for the digi stamp. I added lots of Stickles, a few bulbs on the sides and some shimmery ribbon to help complete the card.

Hope you enjoyed my card. Your next stop on the blog hop is Jodi S.
Happy Blog Hoppin'

Sewn Together Challenge #14

Hi all,
Over at Sewn Together we have an awesome sponsor for this weeks challenge. It is the Cutting Cafe. Here is a little information about Regina the owner of Cutting cafe:

Hello my name is Regina Easter. I have 4 wonderful children and an awesome supportive husband. I have for as long as I can remember loved all the aspects of creating things with paper and drawing. So it was only fitting that I decided to open up The Cutting Cafe' and I am loving every bit of this new venture. The Cutting Cafe' offers affordable Printable Stamps and Cutting Files. The Cutting Files which are basically just like templates are files that you Print out using your home printer, Cut, Assemble and then Embellish.....Very Easy.....The Cutting Files also come in the format where you can cut out the files using some of the latest Machine Cutterslike the Pazzles Inspiration, Bosskut Gazelle and Cricut (with Scal software). The Printable Stamps are just that, images that are sent to you through email that you print out using your home printer. After the images are printed out, you can just color them in like you would any other stamped imaged...One great thing about the Printable Stamps and Cutting Files is that you no longer have to worry about finding space to store all of your stamps....You can keep them all in a folder in your computer and use over and over again.

The cutting cafe blinkie

The challenge is to make a Christmas themed card or project, we would love to see Sewn Together images and Cutting Cafe images used together.

Here is the card that I came up with, I love the shimmer and sparkle of this card.

Penny B and One Stop Craft Challenges

Hi all,

First of all I would like to wish you all a Happy Turkey Day......
I hope you all enjoy your day with family and friends.....

I was able to get another card made up using 2 challenges.

The first challenge was over at Penny B Friends Saturday Challenge Blog. The challenge over there was Winter Wonderland. Well, for me that must mean a snowman.....lol... I found this cute Penny Black image of a snowman and a dog....I just love how animated the stamp set is.....

The second challenge I incorporated was over at http://onestopcraftchallenge.blogspot.com/. The challenge there was to make a card using snowflakes. Well, I think between the background paper, the image snowflakes and the large snowflake on the front, I think I have that covered.

Here is my card for both of these challenges:

Happy Turkey Day!

Here is a little bit closer view of all the glittery stuff....lol.

Hope you like my card.....

Two challenges in one.....

Hi all,

Are you all ready for Thanksgiving? I still can not believe Thanksgiving is this week.....my time is just flying by, it amazes me how fast things seem to be going.....

Anyway, I was off work today, so I decided to try out some challenges. First stop was the Ildico Blog to see what they were up to.....the challenge was to make a card using a Christmas song to inspire you. Well, all the songs started going thru my head as I looked through my stamps and I saw this little Hedgehog holding a Christmas tree and immediately started singing "Rockin' around the Christmas tree", so that is my inspiration.

Then I saw on Mojo Monday they posted a nice little sketch and it worked perfectly with my little hedgehog. So, I incorporated the sketch in as well.

Hope you like the little hedgehogs as much as I do......
Enjoy your day!

3 Challenges in one....

Happy Hump Day....Hope you all had a great Wednesday.

Today I managed to make a card that incorporated 3 different challenges. I recently bought a cute little snowman wooden stamp from a friend....not knowing that it was actually a Penny Black stamp. I was thrilled as I really like the Penny Black images. That must be why I picked that one up, that and I really like snowmen....

Anyway, I decided to participate in the Penny Black Saturday Challenge blog. Their challenge was "Christmas for the guys". I thought the snowman would do just fine for this challenge.

The second challenge I incorporated into this card was the Sketch Saturday challenge. It was a nice little sketch. I used the snowflakes for most of the circles.

The third challenge I decided to incorporate into this card was the challenge over at Cute Card Thursday. The challenge over there was "Glitter me silly". I decided to put glitter all around the snowman so it looked like it was snowing.....

Anyway, here is the card that I incorporated all these challenges into.

Hope you like the snowman as much as I do.

Happy Crafting.

Friday Sketchers Challenge

I hope you all don't get tired of the little Chihuahua.....I had a request from someone I work with to make some of these little guys for her, so I decided to use the little chihuahua for some challenges....

I used this one for the Friday Sketchers sketch....

I tried to make this one bold by adding the Purple ribbon on the just plain black and white....

Until next time....

Happy Monday!

Pink Elephant and Our Creative Corner Challenge

Hi all,
I was busy making Muchas Gracias Chihuahua cards this week end and decided to incorporate them into some challenges. I found this little Chihuahua stamp at a Scrapbook Expo a couple of years ago. Isn't it the cutest?

For this card I used the challenge over at Pink Elephant blog which was "be thankful". Well, I thought that "Muchas Gracias" covered that...

The second challenge I incorporated was over at Our Creative Corner blog. The challenge was a sketch challenge.

So, here is the card....
Hope you like it....Have a great week ahead...

Crafting Life's Pieces & La-La Land Crafts Challenges

Hi all,

I completed this card and wanted to get it posted....I think it turned out beautiful...

I used a Sarah Kay stamp that I recently bought. These images are so adorable. You can really lace and bling things up with them.

I created the card using the sketch over on the Crafting Life's Pieces blog.

I incorporated using a new lacey punch that I bought from Stampin' Up, so I decided to include it in the challenge over on La-La Land Crafts. Their challenge is to "Get Punchy".

I really love how this card came out. I love using brown with any color, I think that color combo turns out so pretty.... I added some pearls to give it a feminine, vintage look.

Hope you like it too...

Happy crafting..

I used sweet little Kimi the Angel....I used Angel Wings Shimmerz all over her dress, hair and wings....Then I added some golden highlights to her hair and of course her halo with a gold gel pen.

I love how this card came out. I tried to take a picture so you could see all the bling on her....

Hope you liked it as much as I do....
Have a great week end....

Sew Many Cards and Friday Sketchers Challenges

Hi everyone....

I decided to incorporate a sketch challenge from Friday Sketchers http://fridaysketchersblog.blogspot.com/ to go along with my Design Team challenge over at Sew Many Cards.
This weeks challenge over at http://digital.sewmanycards.com/ is to sew on your project. It can be real sewing, fake stiches or paper priecing. It is your choice. I have never been much of a sewer, so I chose paper piercing. Here is my take on the challenge......

Make sure and link your project back to "Sew many cards" in order to be considered for the prize Angela has to offer.
Until next time....
Happy Crafting...
